Starry Meteoric Art Grille | Inspired by The Starry Night
The STARRY Meteoric Art Grille is inspired by Vincent van Gogh’s masterpiece The Starry Night.
What makes this painting iconic is not a static depiction of the night sky, but the sense of motion — swirling clouds, flowing light trails, and a sky that feels alive.
During the design process of STARRY, we did not simply extract “star” elements. Instead, we focused on translating this sense of moving celestial structure into an automotive front-end design language.
The idea of a “meteor-like trajectory across the night sky” became the core direction of this design.
That is why this series is named STARRY, representing the visual relationship between stars, light trails, and motion.
Design Philosophy: Structure, Not Decoration
STARRY is not a decorative upgrade added onto a traditional grille. It is a redesign of the structural logic of the front face.
The design focuses on three key aspects:
1. Directionality
The unified flow of lines creates a forward visual motion, rather than a flat grid layout.
2. Layered Structure
Different depths and structural layers create clear light-and-shadow transitions under different lighting conditions.
3. Visual Focus
The geometry naturally draws attention toward the center, giving the front end a more unified and powerful appearance.
This design language does not rely on external elements. The visual effect is generated entirely by the structure itself.
Visual Effect: Driven by Light and Form
The STARRY grille presents different visual expressions depending on the environment:
- In daylight: clear three-dimensional structure with strong layering
- Under side lighting: extended directional flow effect
- Front view: concentrated visual focus with stronger presence
- From a distance: enhanced recognition and sporty character
The key feature is not transformation, but how different angles reveal different structural expressions.
Material & Craftsmanship: Balance of Strength and Detail
STARRY is manufactured using high-strength ABS injection molding, ensuring structural stability and long-term durability.
ABS material offers:
- Lightweight construction without adding front-end load
- Strong impact resistance
- Adaptability to various climate conditions
For surface finishing, KRUZ hot-stamping craftsmanship is applied to enhance detail definition.
This process is not purely decorative. It helps reinforce structural edges and improves the overall visual clarity of the design.
Fitment & Application
STARRY belongs to the exterior aftermarket grille category and is designed for Mercedes-Benz front-end upgrade applications.
It follows OEM-based mounting logic, requiring no modification to the vehicle’s main body structure.
Its purpose is not to change the function of the vehicle, but to refine the front-end visual proportion and improve overall design consistency and recognition.

Understanding Starry
STARRY is not a literal interpretation of “stars”. It is an attempt to translate the sense of movement in the night sky into structural automotive design.
It focuses not on individual elements, but on the relationship between them — direction, depth, and light working together to form a complete visual system for the vehicle’s front end.
